We can help them by making reading interesting ie. comics, projects with directions, mysteries, giving choices. We should also model, read aloud, and show a lot of patience since our goal is to enjoy reading together. Supplying easy reading will make it motivating especially if we avoid correction and criticism. Using technology will definitely hype things up for them!!
